CeBIT 2014 – something to look forward to by Andy Steer
March is going to be a little different (and hopefully interesting) for me this year as I will be making my first trip to cebit.
A quick look on Wikipedia tells you the following “CeBIT is the world’s largest and most international computer expo. The trade fair is held each year on the Hanover fairground, the world’s largest fairground, in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany, and is considered a barometer of the state of the art in information technology.” Sounds great ;-)
What Wikipedia doesn’t tell you is that itelligence are one of the 3,500 companies from over 70 countries who have chosen to exhibit at this enormous event. In fact itelligence have a strong history of appearing at CeBIT, we traditionally have a stand and attendance is always a highlight in the calendar.
I am lucky enough to have been invited along to spend the 10th and 11th of March on our stand at cebit, why? you may very well ask…
Business Analytics continues to be a major priority for CIO’s globally (according to Gartner), and cebit attendees are no different, so my good friend Christian Schmidt and I will play the part of itelligence Business Analytics guns for hire, ready to answer questions from anyone who chooses to stop by and say hello.
But what about those of you who can’t get to sunny Hanover?
Well as an added treat we will be doing a live Twitter Chat or Twinterview if you will from the itelligence stand.
I will be joined physically and virtually by colleagues from the itelligence global community and we will all be ready to answer your questions regarding Business Analytics both inside and outside the world of SAP applications.
So if you want to discuss predictive analytics, performance management, data governance, how to drive user adoption of BI or even plain old reporting then why not join us at Monday March 10th, and Tuesday March 11th 2014 on our booth in Hall 4,B04.
Or join our twinterview which will be held on March 10th, 2014 between 4:15 and 4:45 pm CET. To join just add the hashtag #itelligence to your tweets.
